BBQ Pork Ribs

Barbecue ribs are surprisingly easy and much more affordable to make at home. The hardest part of this recipe was trying to get a pretty “blog” picture. Here’s what you do:

Ingredients

  • A rack of ribs, 2-4 pounds (you want baby back or back ribs)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Barbecue sauce

Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 275. Line baking tray with foil tightly, and put another foil sheet down on that to wrap the ribs. If your ribs have a silvery membrane, you’ll want to remove that. Salt and pepper the ribs, rubbing it all over.

Tightly wrap the ribs in the aluminum foil with the fatty part of the ribs facing up. Cook for three hours, then unwrap. Brush bbq sauce all over the ribs and put back under the broiler until sticky and perfect, 3-6 minutes. WATCH THEM CAREFULLY. If they burn, all is lost. Let cool and enjoy.

About Me

Hello friend, my name is Katie and pizza is my favorite food. Yes, I’m in my thirties and yes, I have three daughters that I’m raising and homeschooling and nagging, but I think you’d be most interested to know that I would eat pizza for every meal of every day and never complain. There was a brief time (ages 8-11) when I thought that mashed potatoes was my favorite food, but I’ve since come around. That being said, I don’t only talk about pizza. Here you will find slices of homeschooling life, home decor, cooking, musings, and an occasional funny meme. In fact, I think you will find a shocking lack of pizza content as a whole, but now you know the truth: Pizza is always close to mind.
